New rings

Hi guys,

I hope you all have been well, tonight a quick post about a couple of new rings that I recently got. The gold and black onyx one was a birthday gift, which I ended buying from Cocosa.
I wanted another ring by Monica Vinader because I love her jewellery, then I kept my eye on the Cocosa sale website. Luckily the sale was near my birthday and I managed to snap this one, which is gorgeous. It's funny that I have decided to go for gold (sounds so pre olympic!) but now, I think gold can be elegant, so much that I decided to go for a statement piece such as this cocktail ring.

To balance it out, I just had to buy another golden ring... from Asos. I found this pyramid in rose quartz, which is pretty cool, quirky and very fragile but a great bargain for just £11, reduced on sale as well.

I am so delighted, 'Miss T' says thank you!

Shopping notes and impartial review:
It was my first time buying from Cocosa and it was easy, I received my ring a few days later with no hassle and was very pleased.
This time with Asos I took advantage of the super saver zero postage and received my item before the promised date.

Tomorrow, I'll be catching up with some street style pics, as usual some very stylish girls around town.

See you.

Witches

Hi guys,

I hope to be back to normal on the blog this week. I have been having a different routine, working until late and slowly everything is falling into places. Today's outfit post was inspired by a modern witch. A mix of romanticism, crucifixes, paganism and raw stones.

Vogue Paris April Gisele cover + editorial

Hi guys,

Gisele Bundchen not only looks stunning in the cover of April's Parisian Vogue, with the debut of editor-in-chief Emmanuele Alt, but the magazine also features a beautiful editorial with her.
I loved the laid back, boho chic look, mainly styled with pirate boots throughout the pictures.

I hope you enjoyed.

It's all vintage darrrling.

Hi guys,

Outfit post of the day is a combination of mostly vintage pieces. The skirt and the top are the oldest pieces I own from Vivienne Westwood, they are from the early nineties. I got the skirt through a friend and the shirt I got on Ebay, in amazing condition. Despite the fact that I don't wear them on a daily basis, I basically bought them because I really like the cut of those garments. The shirt is quite tight with a very long double collar (a Westwood classic) and the skirt is fully pleated on the back which makes it puff out. I love it because it makes my bum bigger and although the skirt is very short, it still is very much fun but only wearable with a pair of leggings.
I can't believe how VW sizing was so small! A size UK 10 back then, is almost in between a UK 8-6 from nowadays. I have to be on one of my 'slim days' to wear them.
The shoes and the bag are also vintage. I got the shoes through an acquaintance and the bag a long time ago, on a designer second hand shop.

I was wearing: Shirt, Skirt, Shoes: Vivienne Westwood, Bag: Fendi, Jacket: McQueen, Leggings: Primark, Ring: Ydeltuyt.

Posing for street style at LFW

Hi guys,

A different street style post today... This picture of me was taken by Nathan Menary at London fashion week for his street style page.
It was day 1 at London fashion week and I was wearing boots, trousers and bag all by Vivienne Westwood with my Zara coat. It was interesting to have other people taking my picture for a change and I must say I was very flattered when I got asked.

Bone rings - Beyonce style

Hi guys,

Today sharing with you some pictures of some of my latest rings!
Wow, totally inspired by Beyonce, I think I got a bit excited with those bone rings and I could not resist buying just one of them!

I came across them a while back, whilst browsing through some American websites, as soon as I saw them, I knew they would be really cool, so I decided to buy 2 of them because I wasn't very sure of the sizing and how they would really be in real life. Anyways, when I received them after customs VAT and all that, I was SO pleased. They were really amazing and worth the hassle.
London fashion week came along and so I decided to wear them there, I received so many compliments and loads of people took pictures of my hand.

And then...
I just could not resit, I had to buy the other 2 (which were the last ones they had in stock!) to complete my hand.

My single lady hand, as I am calling it.

Inspired by....

Beyonce cyborg hand

Delfina Delettrez hand cuff

Both of them beautiful and expensive inspirations, I think mine is just as I eye catching though.
What do you think?

I hope you guys enjoyed this post and I'm sorry the blog has been quiet for the last few days, I have just have had no time lately, I have been so busy but I just wanted to say that the blog has not been forgotten at all, just going a bit slower, bare with me.

See you soon.

Diy Leather harness

Hi guys,

I hope you all have been well. Today's outfit is a mixture of re-inventing my old accessories in a new punkish way. Two very simple ideas to transform your accessories with an easy peasy DIY.
Every good girl can be bad sometimes and I suppose it's what this outfit is all about. Mini skirt, leather, chains, creativity and attitude, take a pinch of each and I am ready to go out.

So, you guys already know that I love to wear leather harnesses but they are so hard to come across as well as expensive. Last week, while browsing through the blogsphere, I came across a beautiful dress from All Saints, which has an amazing leather harness on it. The dress itself is very simple, just a mini tube of a knit fabric (which I believe it wouldn't last you long anyways). I was thinking if I did buy it, I would be buying just for the harness really, but costing £130 I don't think I'll go even near it. So, I had the idea to DIY a very simple but effective leather harness by just wrapping this long belt from Zara across my body and I loved how it come out!

I wanted to try this look but I have never had a pair of cool thick woollen stockings...and I still don't! These are just ordinary leg warmers, which I have pulled up to look like stockings and wearing them with the high knee boots gives them the perfect disguise. You wouldn't tell, would you?

I was wearing: Jacket: second hand (it's a kids one), Top: Sisley, Skirt: second hand from Camden Market, Belt (as a harness): Zara, Belt: Diesel, Legwarmers: Primark, Boots: Vivienne Westwood, Bag: from Brazil.

Missoni loves Havaianas

Hi guys,

Summertime news around here, Missoni paired up with Brazilian brand Havaianas for a new range of flip flops which will be available at Missoni shops. They are all very colourful with the traditional Missoni print and I am loving the alpargata style, which is perfect for someone like me, who can't really wear flip flops because I don't like anything in between my toes.

And they also come with a cute bag, which is perfect to complete your beach look. Sweet!
